Boy, it was pretty warm yesterday....almost 90, which is unheard of here in June. While we did have to stop at the grocery store on the way home last night, we only got staples, like bread, eggs, milk, etc.. And some cherries, since they are just coming into season! We still ended up making dinner from stuff we already had in the house. Leah made most of the dinner this time. We had low-fat salmon patties from Trader Joe's, steamed asparagus and low-fat roasted potatoes, which came frozen, from Trader Joe's. The salmon patties we tried eating in pita with spinach, tomatoes and quark, but we didn't like the salmon because it was too fishy tasting. We ended up basically smothering the patty in ketchup and hot sauce to eat it. No dessert last night, we were too hot and tired to deal with it.
